1.Designer Fred Scott in 2002.Hm26 is a development of the extremely popular hm25 range of upholstered seating, designed by Fred Scott. hm26 is generously proportioned with deeper and wider seat dimensions encouraging a relaxed seating position.The range comprises armchair, two-, three- and four-seater sofas, and can be upholstered in a wide variety of fabrics and leathers. Internal frames are of solid beech and panel construction with elastic webbed seats, upholstered in graded CMHR foams. The seat and back cushions are Dacron-wrapped foam. Underframes are brushed stainless steel.

Fred Scott has been one of the most highly respected furniture designers this century has seen. He is respected both in design education and by his fellow professionals. Fred's dedication has enabled him over the years to develop some of the most radical thinking within design and his true understanding of human needs has enabled him to produce designs that stand the test time.
He has always held a strong belief for design education and was a tutor at the Royal College of Art for many years. He remains a valid contributor to design courses throughout the country.
Everybody at Hille was saddened to hear about the premature death of Fred on 31 January 2001. Hille were proud to be associated with Fred and will miss his valued support.
